We’re seeking candidates for CNC Machine Operator roles on 1st shift (5 : 00am-3 : 30pm, Monday-Thursday). Compensation for these manufacturing jobs is $20.

00-$23.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

What You’ll Do as a CNC Machine Operator :

• Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures
• Listen to machines during operation in order to detect sounds such as those made by dull cutting tools or excessive vibration and notify appropriate personnel
• Stop machines to remove finished work pieces, or to change tooling, setup, or work piece placement, according to required machining sequences
• Lift work pieces to machines manually, or with hoists or cranes
• Responsible for knowing and following all environmental, health and safety rules, policies, and procedures for work area and takes responsibility to assure that personal work activity is conducted in such a way so as to not affect the safety of themselves or others

What You Need to Become a CNC Machine Operator :

• High School Diploma or equivalent and may require some vocational training or job-related course work
• Ability to communicate when there are language barriers - to read, to write and to comprehend verbal instructions including safety, work instruction and various training, etc.
• Knowledge of appropriate procedures for using specific equipment or machines to meet defined quality and quantity standards
• Ability to perform basic measurement and basic math tasks
• Plans ahead for upcoming problems or opportunities
• Acts without being directed and proactively follows through on work activities and goals to resolve them
