We are seeking candidates for Extrusion Operator roles on 2nd shift. Compensation for this temp-to-hire role is $20.21. Interested?

What an Extrusion Operator will do :
- Monitor extruders for continuous operation
- Perform mixing and set-up operation
- Maintain operational log on all settings and temperatures of ovens and roll stands
- Remove the full spools and positions empties on take-up
- Check lines for roughness, proper test, correct diameter, and elongation
- Monitor the proper level of wind and tension on all spools
- Perform die changes, braid changes, color changes, and material changes
- Record all usage of material and make note of all scrap
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment
- Disassemble and reassembles die packs
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean techniques
- Drive continuous improvement within the QMS for Pure Fishing and performs select SAP transactions #WEjobhunt
What you need to be an Extrusion Operator :
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or 6 12 months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have a mechanical aptitude and good hand dexterity and coordination
- Must be able to follow set recipes and data to produce quality monofilament
- Ability to work overtime and a 7-day shift operation
- Ability to work under very warm conditions
- Ability to use good judgment to maximize the most yield possible while maintaining safety
