We are currently seeking candidates for Assembly Technician roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these temp-to-hire opportunities is $20.

What an Assembly Technician will do :

• Read blueprints and assembly instructions
• Measure distances for placement of components within subassemblies
• Use hand tools to drill holes and perform other modifications
• Assemble walk-in sections for foaming including those that contain wood pieces, special locks and strikes, cut-outs, ramps, etc.
• Clean all excess foam from the foamed sections
• Determine appropriate information labels based on blueprints or assembly instructions (e.g., UL stickers, serial numbers, etc.

and place them on completed sections

• Clean foreign material from the rails and pallets
• Check for defects in component parts and report them to the supervisor
• Perform housekeeping around the work area

What you need to be an Assembly Technician :

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Manufacturing experience in a related field is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with demanding standards for quality and productivity
