Join our Construction and Facilities Team!

We are accepting applications for General Repair Technicians as well as HVAC Technicians.

We are a restaurant franchisee and operate iconic brands throughout New Jersey; Applebee's, Chevys, The Shannon Rose Pub, Spuntino Wine Bar.

These roles would be traveling with a company van to our restaurants to perform work.

Responsibilities

General Repair Techs on our Construction department will perform a wide variety of repair and construction maintenance tasks, such as furniture repairs, installing new doors, patch cracks, painting, repairing trim, as well as project work related to restaurant remodels.

The role requires someone with good people skills and a well-rounded "fix-it" knowledge base.

General Repair Techs on our Facilities Team will be tasked with a broad spectrum of responsibilities, from minor plumbing and electrical repairs to more specialized tasks such as tile work, door and cabinet repairs, ceiling repairs, and painting.

In addition to these, they are also responsible for maintaining and repairing kitchen equipment, a critical component in the restaurant industry.

Our HVAC technicians require an EPA license

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills
• Proficient with a computer and Microsoft Office
• Proven working experience in carpentry and general repair
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams managing a team of workers and multiple projects
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers
• Thorough understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Basic math skills; able to calculate volume and measure materials to be cut
• Must have own hand tools; Power and specialty tools will be supplied
• Complete computer / administrative work accurately and efficiently
• Competent in dealing with emergency situations
• Able to multitask and manage time efficiently
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• High observation and good time management skills
• Ability to plan, prioritize and execute daily tasks to meet deadlines
• Ensures that vehicle is driven safely, and traffic laws are obeyed.
• If you are interested in the HVAC technician position you will need to have your HVAC EPA certification.
