Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and providing exceptional care to furry companions. This role involves shuttling our daycare dogs in our company van, from their homes (in the east bay. Oakland Alameda, Berkeley etc..) to our facility in Richmond. Hiking them and giving them day activities and shuttling them back home.

Full- Time Position

Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm

Saturday Rotating shifts (schedule to be discussed during the interview)

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and monitor dogs during playtime
- Safely transport dogs to and from our daycare facility.
- Take dogs on adventurous group hike at a nearby Regional Park
- Lead dog enrichment activities such as treat hunts and doggy mediation sessions.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the dogs

Qualifications:

- Experience in pet sitting, animal care, or related field is preferred
- knowledge of balance training is a plus
- Customer service-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle various dog breeds and sizes safely
- Valid driver's license
- Passion for working with animals, particularly dogs
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with cleaning duties associated with animal care
