Title: Customer Service Representative

Reports to: General Manager/Resort Owner

The customer service representative is responsible for providing every client with a “wow experience”. As a CSR, you are the face of the company. The CSR’s purpose is to make every person and dog that walks in feel comfortable, confident, and like a VIP. They are also entrusted to ensure the mission and values are protected and upheld.

Essential Job Functions:

•Carries out and attains the mission and goals of K9 Resorts.

•Assure all guests are cared for in compliance with the company goals.

•Follows the operational procedures as outlined in the K9 Resorts Operations Manual.

•Very customer service oriented.

•Able to use downtime effectively.

•Greet all customers coming into the building.

•Performs Check In/Check Out and reservation procedures in the POS system.

•Works closely with management in charge to handle resort tasks.

•Accepts payment from customers.

•Takes custody of pets and makes sure they are properly placed in the building.

•Answers telephone inquiries.

•Performs body checks to search for pre-existing conditions and/or injuries.

•Provides tours of the facility to potential customers when necessary.

•Responsible for feeding/medicating all dogs.

•Provide personal playtimes for dogs when such a service is requested.

•Take dogs outside for elimination breaks.

•Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.

•Has the ability to perform the following tasks at the request of management.

o Sanitation of the lobby, and all boarding and daycare accommodations.

o Monitoring Daycare.

o Bathing.

Job Requirements:

•Must complete K9 Resorts Certification Program for a Customer Service Representative.

•Customer service oriented.

Qualifications:

•High School Diploma or equivalent.

•Previous experience preferred but not required.

•Some weekends and holiday hours are required.

Technical Skills:

•Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft windows.

•Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.35 per hour

Day range:

• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed

Work setting:

• In-person

• Gallatin, TN: Relocate before starting work (Required)
