Essential Functions of the Job

• Collaborate with application engineers on relevant and skill level appropriate projects.

• Engage in Lean continuous improvement projects focused on engineering processes and product design

• Support product engineers and lab technicians on product and component testing

• Collaborate with application engineers focusing on product performance

• Small scale design engineering and process improvement project support and leadership

Education

• Currently enrolled in a mechanical engineering bachelor's degree program from an accredited university in the United States

Background/Skills

• Must be currently authorized to work for Dodge Industrial in the US

• Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on critical thinking, root cause analysis, and problem solving

• Collaborates well with others and is a good team player

• Entrepreneurial spirit with passion for new and changing ideas

• Familiar with MS Office and SolidWorks

• Ability to adapt and multi-task based on departmental needs
