Doctor’s Office For Pets, located just north of Lake Tahoe in Truckee, CA, is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our exceptional team. This position encompasses veterinary assisting duties as well as client service at the front desk.

This is a flexible, part-time position with the potential of full-time hours in the future. We are offering an hourly rate of $23 - 27 depending on experience and skillset.

Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:

• Client service and education
• Welcoming and discharging patients
• Scheduling appointments
• Over the counter sales and financial transactions
• Managing phone lines and email
• Gentle patient handling and restraint
• Venipuncture
• Administering medications and injections
• Pharmacy and laboratory duties
