DocStar Medical Partners is looking for a cardiovascular nurse practitioner (vein harvesting). For a long term assignment with high chance of extension. Client covers all expenses!

3-4 weeks is the average

Work Schedule:

1 clinic day per week - 8AM-4:30PM

4 OR/Surgery days per week, 7A-5P

APP's take first call - weeknight/weekedn call divided by 3 APP's

Vein call divided among 2 APP's (this position will take half of the call)

Patient Volume:

OR: 3-8 cases per week

Procedures:

10 Bed unit

Sephenous and radial vein harvesting (Getinge UVH)

1st assist with cardiac surgery.

EMR:

EPIC/Dragon

License Needed:

MI License, will wait - must be clean and fast with paperwork.

Certifications Needed:

MI License, DEA, BLS, ACLS. Must have 50 case logs within past 12 months.

Relevant Experience/Skill Set Needed:

Cardiac Surgery/Vein harvesting.

Other additional pertinent information:

Full Surgery support team -1 FT CVS Surgeon (3 local, locum MD's as well), two APPs.
