We are currently seeking a highly efficient revenue cycle manager to oversee a department of twelve employees which are currently providing support to seventeen dental offices. To be successful as a revenue cycle manager, you should be able to manage both staff and patient complaints and continuously improve the functioning of the revenue cycle department.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing operational system efficiencies, processes, and policies in support of the organization’s mission by encouraging and using management reporting, information flow and management, business process, and organizational planning.
• Assist functional areas with budget and staff planning to support operational needs.
• Handle research on a variety of topics, including regulations and policies.
• Support the management of client relations and communicate with clients, as needed.
• Work closely with our internal operations team, external clients, and vendors.
• Assist in the development of training programs and protocols.
• Assist regional managers to schedule, execute, and close out events.
• Attend meetings and track outcomes.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

The Revenue Cycle manager will be responsible to managing a staff of twelve who are responsible for the following:

• Insurance claims submission
• Insurance claims follow up
• Provider credentialing
• Insurance billing fee schedule maintenance
• Insurance verifications
• Patient audits (assist dental office personnel)
• Cash reconciliation of insurance payments
• Insurance payments posting
• Training office staff on various topics
• Billing and collections for specialty dentistry (Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, etc.)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, healthcare administration, or related field.
• 5 Years Dental Management Revenue Cycle Experience.
• Proficient in Denticon and all Microsoft Office applications as well as dental office software.
• Proven experience in dental healthcare billing.
• Sound knowledge of dental health insurance providers.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
