Customer Success Authentication Engineer Intern
Summer 2024: June 3 - August 9
Internship is reserved for students currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year college or university and must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. This role is hybrid out of Barracuda's Ann Arbor, MI office.

As a Customer Identity and Access Management Intern, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and efficiency of our customers' digital experiences. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing customer identities, access controls, and authentication mechanisms. You will work closely with our cybersecurity team to uphold the highest standards of data protection and privacy for our customers.
What you'll be working on:
* Assist in the administration and maintenance of customer identity and access management systems.
* Support the implementation of multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO) solutions.
* Assist in managing user access permissions and entitlements according to established policies and procedures.
* Help troubleshoot and resolve customer access issues in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between customer identity and access management processes and business objectives.
* Participate in the evaluation of new identity and access management technologies and tools.
* Contribute to the development of documentation, training materials, and best practices for customer identity and access management.
* Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in customer identity and access management.
* Be passionate about and find how Artificial Intelligence can benefit and hinder CIAM.
What you bring to the role:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Strong interest in cybersecurity and identity and access management and Artificial Intelligence.
* Familiarity with identity and access management concepts and technologies is a plus.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
