Position: Teacher in our school age After school program

Hours: There are 2 shift options. During the school year, Character Kids operates from 2-6 daily. There is an option to have full time hours by working in our preschool classrooms from 930-200. This can be a part-time or full-time position. In the summer, this will be a full time position with school-aged children.

Experience preferred: We are looking for moms or people with experience in a childcare or after school facility

Teachers should be able to: Communicate effectively with children, parents and other staff members. Follow DHS licensing guidelines. Prepare and implement appropriate activities. Maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is safe, clean and organized.

Requirements: Teachers must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent. Teachers must be able to pass a state and federal background screening.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
