Overview:
Tyler Law Firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the law firm and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This is a key role that requires conscientious attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to partners.

Duties:
- Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including daily accounting needs for the law firm as well as bi-weekly payroll, monthly reconciliations for multiple accounts, month-end close processes.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Understand and ensure timely preparation and payment of routine tax liabilities.
- Oversee and assist with the preparation of year end tax returns.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Proficient with QuickBooks
- Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliation processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to partners
