Overview

dnata is seeking a Business Project Planning Manager at our Corporate Office in Orlando Florida!

Reporting to the CEO, this position serves a crucial role in developing and implementing plans and strategies through exceptional project planning. You will be responsible for the strategic planning and tactical execution of various dnata operational, financial, and environmental projects.

You Will

  • Engages in continued strategic examination of future and current projects to build strong team collaboration and operational effectiveness.
  • Develops and implements strategic objectives and provides measurement of progress of those objectives.
  • Implements policies and best practices to support achievement of objectives and required standards.
  • Participates in planning sessions with leadership teams across the country.
  • Ensures that proper coordination is established with all different levels of project stakeholders.
  • Plans and ensures availability of adequate and appropriate resources, and recommends additional opportunities for synergies and savings within the project.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Facilitates implementation of new projects/systems and major modifications of existing systems to reduce downtime.
  • Acts as a liaison between the company, customers, and governmental entities.
  • Manages audits and requests for information from project implementation through completion.
  • Develops, plans, and implements operational strategies and objectives.
  • Maintains and provides appropriate documentation to the risk management team.
  • Provides operational input for strategic business planning, technology integration, innovation, and process changes in facilities across the network to drive exponential growth.
  • Collaborates and innovates with all executive and field leadership teams to consistently deliver on our promises to our customers through effective leadership, colleague development, and customer partnerships.
  • Identify key issues that impede current or future operations to provide solutions for complex problems within the cargo and aviation environment.
  • Collaborate with all functional teams in Operations, Safety, Human Resources, and Equipment Management to ensure our objectives are achieved in service, revenue, and profitability throughout the organization.
  • Develop initiatives to improve cost performance and profitability through oversight and analysis of operational budget and utilize results to improve cost performance and profitability.

  • Must possess and be able to demonstrate outstanding Project Planning
  • Bachelor of Science in Business or a combination of education and experience in Project Planning.
  • Proven success in developing, planning, and initiating strategies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft office
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower teams to achieve objectives through communication and organization.
  • Superior written and verbal communications, decision making, problem-solving, and organizational skills essential.
  • Timely decision maker, able to prioritize critical tasks that add the highest
  • Unquestioned integrity and personal
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coach teams on complex
  • Demonstrated use of problem-solving techniques.
