Position Overview: We are currently hiring individuals with ZERO experience interested in becoming a Fiber Optic Cable Splicer. This position offers a unique opportunity to undergo a comprehensive 4-6 week boot camp where you will receive hands-on training in all aspects of fiber optic splicing, including testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.

Responsibilities:

• Learn and master the techniques of fiber optic cable splicing.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of fiber optic networks.
• Prepare and maintain fiber network prints and documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals efficiently.
• Be prepared for occasional weekend and night shifts during busy seasons.

Requirements:

• No prior experience required; we welcome individuals with a strong willingness to learn.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel extensively as the job requires.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work locations (changes may occur every 6 months to 1 year).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Successful completion of a drug background test.
• Must be able to lift 100lbs.
