**Position Overview:**
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professional (DSP) Drivers. As a DSP Driver with DMW Brothers Dispatch, you will play a crucial role in providing not just transportation but also support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities.
You are required to use your own vehicle for this position.
**Responsibilities:**
- Safely transport individuals with developmental disabilities to and from various destinations.
- Provide compassionate and person-centered care during transit, ensuring the well-being and comfort of passengers.
- Follow established routes and schedules while adapting to any unexpected changes or delays.
- Collaborate with caregivers to address specific needs and preferences of passengers.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, reporting any issues promptly.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for individuals during the journey.
**Qualifications:**
- Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a DSP or in a similar caregiving role is preferred.
- Knowledge of best practices in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with patience and empathy.
- Flexibility in working hours.
