DMV Medical Group is looking for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

NOTE: **WE ARE LOOKING FOR PROVIDERS THAT ARE COMFORTABLE OFFERING TALK THERAPY AND MEDICATION MANAGEMENT TO PATIENTS **
What we're looking for and what you’ll do:
Passionate, caring providers who would like to make an impact on the mental healthcare world
Independent providers, comfortable working in a growing environment performing psychiatric evaluations, managing patient medication regimens, plans, prescription management, medication adjustments and dosages as needed, responding to EHR messages, etc
Experience diagnosing and treating mental health patients
Comfortable with providing quality care to patients by hosting remote/in-person consultations, evaluations, and follow-ups. We offer mostly Telehealth services but you will be required to come in to the office one day per week (Tuesdays or Wednesday) after growing your panel.
What you'll need:
Willingness to put patients first
Valid PMHNP license in one of the following: Maryland, D.C., & Virginia
Preferred but not mandatory license in at least 2 of the surrounding states Maryland, D.C., and Virginia
Willing to get licensed in at least one of the 3 surrounding states: Maryland, D.C., and Virginia
DEA license: Not mandatory to be hired but will be required for continued employment
Currently registered or recently applied to the CAQH system
Word processing and computer skills; comfortable adapting to new software and workflow updates (Training available)
Individual Malpractice Insurance (Can be applied for during/after the hiring process)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
