Concrete Sales

DMV Concrete is a leading supplier of volumetric and ready-mix concrete, providing products with high standards of quality, safety, and service in the construction industry (commercial and residential). Our main plant is in Fairfax, Virginia, and we promote a strong safety culture for customers and staff.

We are currently seeking a Concrete Salesperson for our Fairfax location.

MUST BE BILINGUAL (Spanish and English)

The salesperson is responsible for concrete sales (ready-mix and volumetric) for multiple clients. Must understand ready-mix and volumetric processes. The salesperson must be aware of special jobsite conditions that require specific trucks, spacing, slump requirements, etc. The salesperson must be able to assist customers in finding the adequate product to cover their needs. They must be customer service minded and be able to keep a level head under stressful conditions. This position requires day-to-day interaction with other employees, visiting job sites and participation in public and social events if necessary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Knowledge of local area and distances.

· Must provide excellent customer service by phone and in person.

· Knowledge of quotes and budgets.

· Communicate effectively with customers as well as other employees.

· Memorize and recall detailed information.

· Handle multiple tasks concurrently and perform under pressure.

· Must exhibit teamwork and quality as core values.

· Manage market share growth.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively.

Experience in concrete sales (desirable).

3 years of related experience.

Must be fluent in Spanish and English.

CONCRETE SALES BENEFITS

Pay will be a combination of base pay (depending on experience) and commissions.
