DMSi Software is Hiring an Event & Experience Specialist Near Omaha, NE
The Event & Experience Specialist is dedicated to cultivating a thriving workplace culture that aligns with DMSi's core values and strategic objectives. This role involves leading initiatives that promote employee well-being, engagement, and organizational effectiveness. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Organize, plan, and execute company events and activities. Including managing logistics, vendor selections/ relationships.
Vendor contract negotiations.
Evaluate event outcomes and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Plan and facilitate team-building activities to strengthen workplace engagement.
Creatively promote event participation across the organization, being the champion of DMSi core values.
Design and implement onboarding processes introducing new team members to DMSi's values.
Create, configure and maintain HR SharePoint Site.
Manage, execute, and deliver DMSi's corporate wellness program.
Conduct employee surveys to identify areas of improvement.
Design and lead initiatives to enhance remote engagement.
Assist with recruiting, including attending on-campus activities.
Promote DMSi through various channels in the community.
Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
Create and manage the budget for related activities and events.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Strong critical thinking skills and decision-making. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures. Proactive and self-motivated team player. UKG experience is a plus. Availability for occasional evenings and weekends when necessary. Ability to travel, including air and car rental. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of experience in event planning and employee engagement. Degree in Human Resources, Event Management, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent work experience. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal office environment with use of computers and telephone systems; no unusual physical demands. Travel to customer locations including overnight, business air travel, and car rental.
