DMS Facility Services is currently searching for a Facility Supervisor for a well established client in the Spokane area.

Shift: Mon- Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay Rate: $35.50

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Manages and administers programs involving electrical, mechanical and general construction, repair and maintenance of existing facilities and equipment, operation of plant utilities (i.e. gas, electric, air-conditioning systems and water). Visually inspects quality of work, supervises staff and outside contractors in tasks according to performance and productivity standards. Plan, prepare and monitor special projects. Assign work orders to staff; monitor progress and results. Oversees janitorial staff.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of facility maintenance staff & janitorial staff.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules to ensure efficient operation of facility equipment
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Manage projects related to facility improvements and upgrades
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, equipment history, and maintenance schedules
- Review and interpret technical schematics and blueprints
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on proper procedures and techniques
- Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related issues

Requirements:

-Minimum of 3 to 5 years of facility maintenance supervision
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a supervisory role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems
- Working knowledge of commercial HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing
- Knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment, Operate a Forklift and Reach truck.

- Working knowledge of Conveyor systems, Hoists, Dock doors

- Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
