About the Opportunity

DMI is looking for a Project Manager to support our Commerce client.

The Project Manager will support our global Brand Marketing and Customer Experience (CX) teams. This professional will manage client engagements, ensure quality of delivery, provide excellent service, and direct cross-functional teams towards on-time and on-budget project completion with an ability to lead in balance with business objectives and driving results. Seeking someone who is a digitally-savvy, strategic leader who can effectively manage a project on all sides of the fence with a knack for motivating people.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for driving project delivery with an innate ability to identify what your project teams need, then proactively seeking that out so they are supported in producing the best possible work and results for our clients.
  • Act as the day-to-day point-of-contact for delivery and manage the full lifecycle of activities (end-to-end) for CX and Website (UX/UI/Dev/QA) leaning projects engagements involving, but not limited to: discovery, primary and desktop research, strategy, media planning, multichannel content and/or campaign concepting and asset production for both B2C or B2B clients, across a variety of verticals.
  • Responsible for project set-up upon contract executions, creation of detailed project plans and schedules, prioritization and monitoring of key milestones and deliverables, status reports, resourcing the team, and ensuring the quality of work meets agency standards and client mandatories.
  • Strong risk mitigation to foresee, identify, and solution clear paths to remove blockers. Ability to communicate these risks to clients, such as, but not limited to: scope creep (internal external), quality concerns, etc. Then presenting solution options, with an understanding of when to escalate to the account team, project sponsors, and stakeholders if additional change request support is needed.
  • Manage P&L, tracking account burn, and adjusting revenue forecasts throughout the duration of the project. Keen guidance for teams to meet/exceed direct margin targets.
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with reviewing and checking deliverables against client feedback, maintaining assets/references, including documentation, procedures, workflows, templates, etc. for the team.
  • Support discipline leads with coordinating customer research and user testing efforts.
  • Take initiative to identify opportunities to elevate the work with the team and help introduce innovative solutions or approaches.
  • Establish and manage relationships with third parties/vendors/contractors as needed.
  • Track all 3rd party costs/expenses and support the account team with client invoicing and billbacks, according to the contract terms.
  • Facilitate project retrospectives upon project close (or as necessary).
Qualifications

Education and Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in related field of study or equivalent work experience
  • 4 years of proven experience in project management (ad agency or in-house), overseeing successful delivery of multiple digital, CX, website, and marketing accounts
  • Ability to provide direct communication
  • Adapts quickly to change and initiates new ideas
  • Understanding of the importance of leadership and interpersonal communications in developing successful teams and fostering strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Understanding of project management principles, waterfall/agile/hybrid workflows and when to apply them
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, Basecamp, Smartsheet, etc.
  • Experience working in Google Work Apps such as Google Sheets, Slides, and Docs
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PPT, Word, SharePoint, and Excel)
  • Experience with managing interdisciplinary delivery teams of 10 ppl across different time zones
  • Understanding of the onshore, nearshore, offshore and hybrid team models is a plus
  • Experience with other project types welcome, including traditional/digital advertising campaigns, app UX/UI, broadcast and streaming pre-and post production shoots, branding, social media campaigns, SEM, SEO optimization, etc.
