About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Process Analyst to support our client in Washington DC

Duties and Responsibilities:

The resource will support Customer in several ways which may include, but are not limited to, the following:

    Interviewing various process stakeholders to understand Customer processes and the business requirements which drive them
  • Documenting existing Customer processes and procedures with diagrams and written descriptions
  • Identifying gaps in business operations where no formal or consistent process exists
  • Analyzing processes and recommending improvements or architecting new processes which address any identified gaps and increases process efficiency and effectiveness
  • Presenting findings, recommendations, and work products to various stakeholders and groups within Customer
Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

  • A minimum of five years experience working as a process analyst at an organization where IT was the main product/service
  • Demonstrated prior experience successfully eliciting and documenting business processes
  • Demonstrated prior experience analyzing business processes and recommending improvements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience preparing presentations for executives and other senior stakeholders
  • Strong skills in preparing meaningful and easily understood process diagrams using standard diagramming software such as Microsoft Visio
  • Basic project management skills and experience preferred

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • IT Process and procedures documentation and Technical Writing expertise
  • Policy documentation expertise
  • Expert with Microsoft Software Programs (Visio, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to understand requirements and their impact on technical directions of a solution
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and react to customers appropriately, while exhibiting the highest level of customer service
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced development process
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong proofreading, grammar, and editing skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to develop, document, and ensure adherence to technical standards
  • Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to sustain your own assigned project work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to receive direction from multiple managers, and support multiple team members simultaneously
  • Ability to multitask
  • Must be highly organized and a self-starter
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with team members and management
  • Must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks
  • Strong facilitation skills.
  • Proven experience at driving consensus across multiple stakeholders
  • Process driven analysis skills and a background in various requirements elicitation methods
  • Commitment to responsiveness and achieving tasks on deadline
  • Flexible team player
