The EDM Operator/Machinist will work in the Maintenance department and operate EDM equipment, mills, lathes, grinders and other tools/equipment to optimize machining processes to repair and make parts to keep our production equipment operating efficiently.
Requirements:

• Setup and operate EDM equipment to cut, shape, and contour metal to specifications.
• Ability to program and model parts
• Review samples, CAD drawings and designs, and blueprints to determine machining requirements and electrode paths
• Measure and inspect finished elements to ensure they meet QC standards and adhere to specified tolerances
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on all EDM equipment
• Collaborate with CAD and Engineering to optimize machining processes, provide feedback, and contribute improvement processes and designs
• Safely operate mills, lathes and grinders to precise tolerances
• Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements
• General mechanical skills
• Must be reliable with good work ethic
