DMAX, Ltd. located in Moraine, Ohio, and home of the Duramax Diesel Engine, is hiring for supervisory positions in maintenance and production. DMAX offers paid overtime and a competitive benefit package.

Position: Maintenance Supervisor (Offshift)

FLSA Status: Salaried Exempt/Overtime Eligible

Department: Maintenance

General Purpose of Position: Manage and direct the activities of the hourly skilled trades personnel; Communicate with operations management to determine plant priorities and most efficient utilization of resources.

Ability to work off-shift and weekends required.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

· Knowledge of all daily downtime calls

· Work with Maintenance Team Leads to insure effective allocation and assignment of skilled trades resources.

· Provide the first level of technical support

· Provide needed reports

· Provide approval and act as the confined space supervisor

· Control and monitor SPQRC (Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness and Cost)

· Implement Global Manufacturing Principles within Maintenance organization.

· Achieve BPD goals within area of responsibility

· Ensure needed spare parts are ordered

· Keep management informed of all key developments

· Facilitate monthly Kaizen meetings

· Maintain PM compliance above 90%

· Ensure team work documents are in Maximo

Skills and Abilities:

· Ability to read blue prints

· Understanding of electronics, hydraulics, and mechanical functions

· Detail oriented

· Effective communicator oral / written

· Computer skills – MS Office and Outlook

· Leader, mentor, coach

Education/Experience

· Minimum Associates degree with a major in engineering or prior experience in skilled trades supervision in an industrial environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
