Overview

Our clients, a vibrant, casual family of four with a home in the Hamptons, are seeking a full-time Summer Chef to join their team. They value a positive attitude, flexibility, a kid-friendly approach, and a strong collaborative spirit. The ideal candidate should be adept at sourcing high-quality, fresh, local ingredients and flexible in preparing a variety of meals, whether it's daily cooking, casual outdoor lunches, or an intimate dinner party.

The position typically requires 4-5 working days per week, typically from Wednesday through Sunday. You will start by preparing dinner on Wednesday, then prepare lunch and dinner Thursday through Saturday, and finish with Sunday lunch. The family enjoys beautiful, fresh salads with lean proteins for lunch and a variety of cuisines for dinner, with a hankering for Mediterranean and Asian cuisines, among others.

Candidates living within driving distance of the Hamptons are preferred. While the client can provide housing for the selected Chef, they prefer that the Chef lives off-property during days off.

• Compensation: $600-$700 per day | DOE
• Work Vehicle: A vehicle is available for work use only; Chefs should have their own transportation to leave property on their days off
