Director, DevOps & Site Reliability

In this role you will get to:

* Strategic leadership for DevOps & Site Reliability teams for the PPS Technology Platform

* Oversee the design, deployment, and management of the organization's infrastructure.

* Drive the automation of deployment, configuration management, and monitoring processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention

* Select and implement appropriate DevOps tools and platforms. Evaluate and select third-party tools and services that align with the organization's needs and goals.

* Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of outages or disasters.

Who you are:

* 7 years of progressively complex related experience.

* Must have people management experience

* Proven experience implementing and managing DevOps and SRE practices in large-scale environments.

* Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible

* Proficiency in AWS & Google Cloud

* Exceptional problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify root causes.

* Experience in managing complex projects and initiatives, including resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling.

* Proven track record of leading and managing technical teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance evaluation.

* Experience developing and executing a strategic vision for the DevOps and SRE functions.

* Experience with Site Reliability Engineering principles, including setting and managing Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budgeting.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.

The salary range for this position is $175,000 to $220,000 USD

Flexible work at Priceline

Priceline is following a hybrid working model, which includes two days onsite as determined by you and your manager (ideally selecting among Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). On the remaining days, you can choose to be remote or in the office.
