DM Clinical Research is Hiring a Clinical Data Systems Manager Near Houston, TX
Clinical Data Systems ManagerThis role requires a self-motivated individual with extensive project management skills to join the central services team. Your main tasks will include overseeing clinical operations functions that are conducted centrally in the organization, such as Electronic Source Document creation & maintenance, Electronic Consent administration, and other services as directed by management. To succeed in this role you should have a natural analytical & critical way of thinking and be able to oversee multiple projects with stakeholders across the organization. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide strategic oversight to the Electronic Source processes and set internal/external policies to administer the system continuously.
Provide strategic oversight to the Electronic Consent processes and set internal/external policies to administer the system continuously.
Cultivate productive relationships between various departments to obtain feedback on efficiently utilizing Site-based Clinical Systems.
Lead stakeholder management by representing the team in meetings with other departments, senior management, and external partners or vendors - gathering feedback from stakeholders and communicating it with the team.
Be a thought leader in clinical trial systems across the organization & industry.
Identify and set clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the team and ensure KPIs are being met.
Maintain confidentiality, prioritize and manage work effectively, and provide exceptional customer service internally and externally.
Liaise with clinical research sites, sponsors, CROs, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback on system functionality.
Develop a succession planning process to identify potential future leaders, ensuring knowledge and cross training are implemented to minimize disruptions in case of transitions, and growth opportunities are provided.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Education:
Minimum qualification of any Bachelor's degree; Bonus if completed in the field of Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or any other relevant field
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of team management experience
Minimum 3-4 years of experience working in a highly-collaborative environment Credentials:
Project Management certification is a plus
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers, clinicians, and subject matter experts
Strong communication skills and organizational skills with attention to detail
