Primary Responsibilities:
Monitor grounds and facility for suspicious activity
Monitor all persons entering/leaving facility
Unlock buildings/doors after checking identification and compliance with polices
Observe activity and traffic in assigned area to enforce rules/regulations; alert visitors of infractions
Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
Be alert and aware at all times
Have great customer service skills
Prevent losses or damages by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures
Complete reports by recording observations and information, occurrences and surveillance activities; submit reports to supervisor if required
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points
Complete other job duties assigned at specific job site
Position Requirements:
6 months security experience
High school diploma or GED
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Ability to follow basic verbal and written instructions
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Reliable transportation
