Sunnyside Care Center is actively looking for a part time Housekeeper/Technician to join our environmental service team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily cleaning of resident rooms as well as facility common areas. This position will also have special projects assigned to them such as stripping and waxing of floors and deep cleaning projects along with minor repair task.

The Housekeeper will also assist in maintaining the high standards of patient safety, privacy, care and cleanliness within the facility. Previous experience in a medical setting and/or as a Housekeeper/Floor Technician is recommended but is not required for this position.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain equipment in good working order

- Provide general cleaning services to residents rooms as well as facility common areas

- Ability to lift or move furniture

- Trash removal

- Stripping and Waxing of Floors

- Operation and maintenance of the facilities floor machine

- Maintain a clean work space at all times

- Minor repair projects

- Any other duties assigned by the Facilities Director

Qualifications:

- Must be available on weekends and some holidays

- Must have the ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
