The DLP Home Care Services, LLC is currently accepting applications for the position of:
POSITION: HOME CARE OFFICE MANAGER Location: DEL RIO, TX
 | FLSA: Exempt | Hire Pay: $50,000.00 annually | Classification: Full time
 
JOB SUMMARY
:
The assistant administrator will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the facilities following local, 
state, and federal guidelines.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensures that facility operations stay in compliance with all regulations, laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Educates all staff members about state, federal, and accreditation requirements (as applicable). 
  • Maintains compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding licensure and certification.
  • Analyzes trends and initiates appropriate plans of action. 
  • Collaborates with appropriate staff to complete billing adjustments and maintain accurate records of these adjustments.
  • Directs weekly business development and management team meetings with all appropriate staff to promote home care services.
  • Provide input, guidance, and feedback related to marketing activities and marketing plans to ensure that goals for growth are met. 
  • Stay informed about new CMS program initiatives and disseminate knowledge to relevant parties.
  • Plans and works toward standardized operating procedures among clinic agency locations including scheduling and referrals, information systems, patient accounting, and invoicing.
  • Inputs data and prepares client files for auditing purposes, through local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Ensures adequate orientation and training of every team member.
  • Provides leadership planning for staff education programs, administrative/staff meetings, and in-services, and encourages continuous education and staff development for all team members.
  • Set positive, attainable expectations, objectives, and goals for the agency.
  • Handles necessary employee corrective action and discipline issues objectively, in consultation with HR.
  • Uses knowledge, experience, and other resources as necessary to make logical decisions, solve problems, analyze work processes, and make suggestions for improvement.
  • Collaborates with the company CEO, and HR Director in the implementation of operations standards and processes.
  • Responsible for the delivery of care for all patients served by the agency by providing supervision and support to the staff.
  • Participates in on-call process, including admin on-call, preparing the on-call schedule, and supporting the on-call process.
  • Adheres to company policies and procedures and HIPAA/Privacy Program, Compliance Program, and Code of Conduct and Ethics. Participates in activities associated with the management of workplace health and safety. Identifies and reports health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries, and property damage at the workplace.
  • Provides oversight and approval of payroll, and ensures the agency is operating by current pay practices.
  • Monitor the department's budget and prepare reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
Receives supervision from the Agency Administrator and CEO.
 
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor/outdoor environment and at the client’s homes. Work very near patients and sometimes would have to use protective or safety attire, such as gloves.
 
ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:
This position is subject to the DLP Home Care Services, LLC drug-free workplace policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
Receives supervision from the Agency Administrator and CEO.
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of healthcare administrator experience.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and regulations. 
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Problem solver with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Must be bi-lingual.
  • Proven experience with administrative and accounting processes is a bonus.
Other:
Valid Drivers’ License Class C.
