Overview
DLH is currently seeking an experienced and driven Capture Manager for pursuits within the federal government to join our Growth and Capture team within the Health IT Operation Center. The successful candidate will conduct business development and capture efforts for complex health IT opportunities ensuring strategic alignment with organizational goals and maximizing our success in winning Federal Civilian Health IT contracts. The Capture Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop winning strategies, assist in crafting compelling proposals, and foster strong relationships to further our business development and capture goals. The Capture Manager will develop and implement plans to identify, qualify, and win opportunities in close collaboration with operation center managers and staff. The Capture Manager will work toward and track success in achieving business growth goals.
Responsibilities
Primary role is developing and implementing formal business development and capture plans. As the Capture Manager they perform formal, but rapid assessment of opportunities against corporate capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses. Once efforts have been approved for business development and capture they will develop win themes, differentiators, and coordinate with other capture and corporate support teams (e.g., finance, pricing, marketing, human resources, and staffing). Duties will involve full life cycle business development and capture including implementing the opportunity assessment process, assisting with bid/no bid decisions, building relationships with key partners, executing a winning proposal strategy, and supporting the effort through proposal and transition.
