Job Description Summary

DLA Piper is seeking an Associate to join its Franchise & Distribution practice in our Philadelphia, Short Hills, Seattle, Chicago or San Diego office. Ideal candidates will have 3 years of Franchise and litigation experience (preferably gained while practicing at an AmLaw 100 firm), a strong academic backgrounds from a well-recognized and respected law school, superior research and writing skills, case management experience, and possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in the top Franchise & Distribution practice (as ranked by Chambers USA) on a broad range of matters for clients in a wide variety of industries.
What the team is known for: Leading firm offering a very deep bench of experienced attorneys capable of handling the full gamut of complex franchising litigation and transactional matters. Represents a wide variety of clients ranging from private equity firms to start-up franchisors to some of the largest franchisors in the USA. Offers unmatched expertise in termination-related disputes and litigation involving allegations of violations of state disclosure and relationship laws.
