** Responsibilities**

**What Youll Be Doing**

* Protecting guests from crime or any dangerous situation

* Responding to all emergency situations

* Removing vagrants from the property and those who cause disturbances

* Ensuring all employees know what to do in the event of an emergency

* Maintaining guestroom security

* Patrolling guest areas and maintaining presence

* Ensuring proper lighting is maintained

* Encouraging guests to take advantage of security features available in their rooms

* Controlling access to property

* Monitoring surveillance cameras

* Securing interior and exterior doors

* Investigating suspicious persons

* Protecting assets

* Managing emergencies

* Investigating incidents

* Maintaining accurate records

* Building relationships with unit managers during walk-through

* Documenting reports for any situation, issue, accidents or injury involving guests, or associates

* Reporting suspicious activity to management

* Assisting associates with needs and requests at security window

** Qualifications**

**What You Need for this Position**

* Ability to safely work and comply with safety and health code standards

* Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more

* Able to stoop and bend

* Occasionally able to lift up to 40 pounds

* Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment

* Able to comply with safety and health code standards
