Solutions Architect
DK Consulting Overview: Founded in May 2003, DK Consulting, LLC, a woman-owned small business, was formed to provide management and technology solutions based on industry best practices. DK Consulting, LLC works with multiple State, Federal, and Commercial customers, and our services range from providing customers with that one ‘critical resource’ to assuming responsibility for an entire IT project.
Interview mode: Virtual via MS Teams
Client: State Highway Administration (SHA)
Work Location: 100% onsite in Baltimore for the first two weeks. After initial two weeks, hybrid schedule with three days of telework. Must live within a four (4) hour commute time to the SHA office, should they need to be called in for unscheduled office time.
Responsibilities: The Solution Architect for SHA will have a key role in designing and implementing complex IT solutions to meet specific SHA business needs. Their primary responsibility is to create a blueprint or plan for an IT system that addresses an organization's specific requirements, including functionality, scalability, performance, security, and integration with existing systems. An IT Solution Architect is a highly specialized role that requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to align technology solutions with an organization's strategic objectives. Extensive experience as a developer using .NET, Oracle and SQL databases is a must.

Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline. A Master's Degree is preferred.
