SUMMARY OF POSITIOINS REQUIRED: Food Manufacturer in the Beaumont area has various positions available in the manufacturing & packaging process. All staff must train and follow HACCP, SSOP, GMP’s and Food Safety rules and regulations. Our detailed training program allows our staff with no previous experience to successfully gain the appropriate knowledge and expertise required to work within the food manufacturing industry. Candidates should be highly motivated, work well within a team environment and possess a high integrity work ethic.
Pay $12-$14 per hour.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the work environment, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required or preferred. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Previous food manufacturing experience preferred.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos preferred. Ability to write simple correspondence preferred. Bilingual skills preferred. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and management required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations preferred.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Employee is working in a food processing area and must be willing and able to handle food products. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for 10 hours per day, 6 days per week, be able to move about the facility, use hands to handle, place, control, or feel product, objects, tools, or controls. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift 18 lbs. constantly, up to 20 lbs. frequently and 30 lbs. and above occasionally.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to cold, wet and/or humid conditions. Must be able to wear all OSHA PPE to work in production area.
WORK SCHEDULE: The hours and days of work are determined by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. Personnel must be able to work mandatory weekends and overtime when required to fill customer orders.
