Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Store Manager to join our Authorized Retail Store (ARS) team in New York City. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sales and retail management, with a proven track record in meeting sales targets, KPIs and staff management. Your responsibilities will include driving sales growth, implementing effective sales strategies, and providing exceptional customer service, while also leading and developing a high-performing team. The role demands not only overseeing the day-to-day operations and logistics of new store openings but also actively engaging in the recruitment, training, onboarding and mentoring of store associates. You will also play a key role in planning and executing in-store events, managing our social media presence, and adeptly scheduling staff to maintain optimal store functionality. Regular store diagnostics will be conducted under your guidance to ensure compliance with our standards and the realization of peak operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and close sales, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Propel sales growth to meet or exceed targets and KPIs, continuously refining sales strategies.
  • Ensure the delivery of top-tier customer service and effectively resolve any issues.
  • Develop strategies to boost purchase conversion rates and customer loyalty.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing professional development of team members.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
  • Develop and utilize KPI assessments to evaluate staff performance and implement improvement plans, establish personnel assessment criteria, and conduct regular evaluations.

  • Optimize staff scheduling for both peak and off-peak periods.
  • Coordinate with DJI / Camrise to set and maintain store standards, rules, and policies, ensuring compliance and assessing performance.
  • Oversee daily operations, including the setup of new stores, and conduct store diagnostics to assess key metrics in sales data, inventory, staff performance.
  • Manage inventory, including warehouse orders and scheduling counts, addressing stockout issues.
  • Maintain store visual presentation standards through display verification rules and schedules.
  • Plan and execute store events, negotiate cross-industry events, and design value-added services.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all company policies, standards, and health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain the store's appearance and functionality to reflect the brand's values.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively train and support the team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Solid experience in retail management and sales, preferably in a similar role.
  • Track record in achieving sales targets and KPIs.
  • Minimum of 3 years of retail experience, preferably in FMCG or consumer electronics.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing a team of at least 5 members.
  • Effective team management and teaching capability.
  • Strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Flexible, adaptable learner with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement improvement strategies.
  • Strong enthusiasm for the drone industry.
  • Bonus: Drone pilot license.
