We are looking for an onsite Farmers Market Manager.

This job is seasonal and on Saturdays from 6:30 am - 10:30 am, June through October.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure the market is operated in a safe and efficient manner
• Handle all on-site issues that arise

• Answer/address all shopper and vendor questions/complaints/concerns
• Assign spots to vendors and manage overall market layout
• Supervise set up

• Create, produce, and manage market promotions, advertising, and special events with assistance from Park District Marketing Director.
• Organize Vendor meeting to start the season

• Other duties that may arise

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Events management: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
