Job Summary
Dixie Buick GMC is seeking a motivated, reliable Service Porter to join our team in Fort Myers, Florida. You will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are clean and fuel levels are maintained. The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary of $12 to $17 per hour depending on experience. Benefits package available for this role includes medical, dental, vision, discounts, and PTO.
Responsibilities
• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
• Move vehicles around the lot before, during, and after servicing
• Perform related porter work in the service department
• Check and refill fuel tanks of vehicles
• Perform check-in duties when vehicles arrive, including paperwork and organizing service history
• Check wheels and tires for safe driving
• Clean vehicles including polishing, waxing, vacuuming, and detailing
• Ensure service lot is organized and vehicles are parked appropriately
• Assist in the maintenance of shop equipment including polishers, buffers, and vacuums
Requirements
• 1 years of experience in auto sales or service
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid drivers license
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors
