Summary of Job Duties

Provide support in general farm operations including forage production (spraying, fertilizing, planting) and harvesting (mowing, raking, and baling hay).

Provide support in general infrastructure maintenance and repairs including building and repairing fences, removal of trees, repair of shade structures, and repair of water lines.

Provide support in farm equipment maintenance including lubrication and minor repairs. Provide support to herd management practices including assisting with herd checks, calving, gathering, sorting, and feeding.

Complete others duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications

The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma.

Preferred Qualifications

1-2 years of experience operating farm equipment and livestock

Additional Information :

Completion of pesticide applicator training within one month of hire. Completion of Beef Quality Assurance training within one month of hire.
