Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. If you have a passion for events management and enjoy creating memorable experiences, we would love to hear from you. Fundraising & Event experience is a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of events from conception to completion, ensuring all details are meticulously coordinated.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venue staff to secure necessary services and resources for events.
- Create and maintain event timelines, schedules, and budgets to ensure smooth operations and cost efficiency.
- Provide on-site support during events, overseeing setup, managing logistics, and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and requirements, and provide personalized service throughout the event planning process.
- Assist with post-event activities, such as gathering feedback, evaluating event success, and preparing event recaps.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Detail-oriented mindset and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and event planning software is a plus.
- Previous experience in event planning or hospitality industry is desirable but not required.
