About the Position

As a Senior Revenue Accountant within the Systems Team at Diversify Advisor Network, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the organization's technological infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include fully owning the revenue and billing function and will also include managing various systems critical to our operations, such as Orion, Salesforce, DocuSign, and custodial platforms. Your expertise and communication skills will contribute to ensuring the smooth functioning of our accounting function and our technology ecosystem regarding the full revenue cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue & Billing Management:
    • Subject matter expert and primary owner of revenue and billing management function.
    • Build and adapt billing procedures for evolving business and advisory needs.
    • Collaborate closely with operations and accounting on quarterly billing through Orion platform.
    • Provide prompt responses to internal billing inquiries.
  • Leadership and Innovation:
    • Lead projects and drive process innovation within the systems team.
    • Contribute to the preparation of documents for SEC/FINRA audits.
    • Prepare quarterly AUM/AUA figures.
  • Technology Implementation and Training:
    • Develop and implement technology business plans for new advisors.

Key Traits:

This role plays a critical role in supporting operations and facilitating the onboarding of new advisors. This requires a proactive approach to managing billing processes, strong expertise in relevant systems, and the ability to lead initiatives at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Exceptional Attention to Detail: Demonstrates a sharp eye for detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all tasks and processes.
  • Responsiveness: Exhibit a proactive and timely response to inquiries and requests from internal stakeholders, including operations, accounting teams, and advisors.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and professionally over phone calls or video meetings with advisors, conveying complex information in a digestible manner and fostering productive interactions.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in revenue management and billing.
  • Preferred experience at a wealth management firm.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting or finance.
