This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our FedEx division while also coordinating maintenance activities across all divisions of Diversified, Inc.

Role Overview:

The FedEx Business Contact (BC) / Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing daily Pickup and Delivery (P&D) operations, acting as a liaison between drivers and upper management, and facilitating maintenance coordination across all divisions of Diversified, Inc. This position reports directly to the Division Lead and requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Ensure the successful execution of daily P&D operations.

- Utilize Dynamic Route Optimization (DRO) and plan routes daily/nightly.

- Distribute daily routes to drivers and ensure attendance.

- Support the development of company policies and procedures.

- Attend daily FedEx meetings to review previous day results.

- Complete and process all paperwork in a timely manner.

- Facilitate communication between ISPs and Stations during load times.

- Ensure driver compliance with daily route duties, including pickups, coding, efficiency, paperwork, and hours of service.

- Assist in the development and critique of training programs.

- Collaborate with the Service Manager to schedule truck maintenance and ensure proper vehicle inspections by drivers.

- Serve as a backup driver on delivery routes when necessary.

- Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities for all divisions of Diversified, Inc., including scheduling regular inspections and repairs for company vehicles and equipment.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and expenses.

- Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to procure necessary parts and services for maintenance activities.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards for maintenance procedures.

- Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize the lifespan of company assets.

- Provide guidance and support to divisional maintenance staff as needed.

- Familiarity with relevant software and tools for maintenance management and scheduling.

Requirements

Experience Required:

- Minimum of 2 years of FedEx or transportation delivery management, general management, or general operations experience.

- Preferred 1 year of experience as a Delivery Driver.

-A CDL is NOT required

·Must be able to pass a DOT physical, DOT drug screen, background check, and MVR screen
