POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILTIES:
The Permitting Specialist would support plugging operations and to be located in Charleston, WV or Bridgeport, WV.
Special focus to be placed on:
  • Assists in compiling all relevant information needed for plugging applications.
  • Works with Plugging Operations, Land and others to ensure applications are completed/submitted accurately and timely
  • Works with the Plugging Operations group to build an inventory of wells to be plugged
  • Assists others in ensuring all work complies with DEC standards and applicable Federal/State and environmental regulations
  • Provides relevant data for completing reports and status/tracking
  • Completes projects timely and within budget
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Meets deadlines.
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to carry out complex permitting projects with minimal coaching
  • Ability to prioritize workflow based on specific deadlines
  • Ability to work with multiple groups within a company
  • Communicate with state agencies
  • Road bonding/driveway permits
  • Deals with landowners effectively
