POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Operator to join our team in Marshall, TX. The Lead Operator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of oil and gas wells, ensuring that production targets are met and that all equipment is functioning properly.
Special focus to be placed on:
  • Oversee the daily operations of oil and gas wells
  • Ensure that production targets are met
  • Monitor and maintain all equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Train and supervise junior operators
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of production and equipment maintenance
  • Communicate regularly with management and other team members
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lease Operator in the oil and gas industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and be on call as needed
Physical Demands/Work Environment
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity to operate specialized equipment
  • Field work environment- requires working in a variety of different weather condition
