DIVERSIFIED ENERGY is Hiring a Gas Scheduler Near Richmond, VA
- Exercise informed discretion to successfully navigate maintenance and operational issues to reliably get natural gas to optimal markets
- Ensure volumes and positions in the internal trade capture system balance and reconcile to actual activity as reported on pipelines
- Assist in reconciling variances between actual transactions and marketer invoices
- Employ judgment to minimize volume reductions and maintain desired imbalances
- Monitor wholesale markets and negotiate with pipelines to maximize revenue by optimizing physical and transportation assets
- Perform any special tasks that may be assigned which will contribute to the achievement of the Company’s strategic objectives
- Provide on-call support for weekend coverage
- Motivated individual with ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
- Accuracy, communication, and decision-making skills are critical
- Strong customer service skills as this position represents Diversified to industry partners
- Experience in the gas scheduling industry preferred
- Highly proficient in Excel and Outlook, ETRM and EBB experience a plus
- Compensation commensurate with relevant experience
