Maintenance Data Technician

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Document proper maintenance records and work orders as required and enter them into the computer database.
• Maintain and update plant equipment in the computer database.
• Maintain a working knowledge of plant equipment and processes to perform maintenance-related tasks.
• Help maintain inventory systems (spare parts and other) to high standards.
• Execute tasks related to established preventative maintenance procedures on plant equipment.
• Perform established preventative maintenance procedures and assist with completing work orders.
• Locate and Repair leaks.
• Maintain overall general plant maintenance.
• Use various hand and power tools, take measurements, and make adjustments.
• Maintain work area in a clean, orderly manner.
• And any other duties that may become necessary from time to time.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of mechanical experience required.
• Inventory management experience preferred.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently.
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Good eye/hand coordination.
• Ability to climb, bend, stoop, and maintain balance.
• Sufficient strength to lift 75 pounds of dead weight.
• Average vision and hearing ability.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Average communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturer’s manuals and P&IDs.
• Good understanding of codes and regulations.
