Job Description
Scope & Requirements:

  • License Management (for the apps listed in the table below)
    • Desktop Software Requests (DSR) in Service Now
      • Approvals/denials
      • Addition/removal of application profiles
      • Verifying license availability
      • Troubleshooting for failed installs
      • Scoping software to MAC devices via Jamf
    • Managing license requests and license removals in Sailpoint
      • License Management: approval/denials
      • Reaching out to Crew to confirm correct products/roles
        • verifying existing roles
      • Manual upgrades (in supplement to SP role): Figma and MiniTab
      • Main apps in the queue: Adobe (Acrobat & CCE), Figma (Figjam, Devmode), MiniTab, FactSet
        • work in progress: MorningStar & Mural
    • License Management (PRD Apps) -
      • License requests to vendor: New licenses, transfers and cancellations
      • Monthly audit/distribution email
      • Troubleshooting/installations/upgrades
      • Requesting additional products and indices
  • Incident Management
    • Incidents that are logged under Service-Now, by operations and service desk or received through telephone/emails - common fix issues
      • Adobe: Failed installations, 'cannot recognize subscription status,' disabling protect mode, default PDF, etc.
      • Mural/Figma/MiniTab: license/deactivation issues
    • Key actions would include:
      • Investigation, corrective actions/workarounds, updating incident status, finding relative KB articles for solutions
  • Problem Management
    • Resolution and root cause identifications of problems that are agreed with the Product Owner for resolutions
    • Problem management mostly occurs with our main platforms such as Adobe/Figma/Mural/Extensis
    • Key actions would include:
      • Raise a problem record in Service Now, adding Root Cause to the Problems, approval from Product Owner for permanent resolution and provision of required information, update problems/KB articles for public reference
      • Coordinate with GTO/external team to close problem task
      • Help coordinate communication on available resolutions (Tech Central, yammer, etc.)
