Help Desk Technician Adecco is a hiring for a Help Desk Support Engineer in Katy, Tx. As a Help Desk Technician specializing in desktop and mobile support, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's IT systems. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, and associated peripherals. Additionally, you will provide technical assistance and training to end-users to help them maximize their productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-line technical support for desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and other mobile devices.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
Install, configure, and update desktop operating systems and applications.
Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
Document support activities, solutions, and procedures for future reference.
Assist with IT procurement and inventory management as needed.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and macOS operating systems.
Strong understanding of desktop hardware components and peripherals.
Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management (ITSM) best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
