The Retail Manager leads a team of Hourly Retail Managers and Hourly Retail Sales Associates in a store dedicated to the sale of merchandise associated with the Paula Deen brand and the Southern lifestyle which the brand reflects.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

· Brand Ambassador – conveys the essence of Southern Hospitality to our guests at all times.

· Leadership – lead team by example and exhibit a strong work ethic, impeccable integrity, and an ability to mentor and develop the unique skills and strengths of each store team member.

· Store Systems & Processes – understand and utilize all existing store systems, including those associated with POS activity, ordering/receiving/processing merchandise. Follows visual display standards to attractively present merchandise to our guests and to spur sales.

· Fiscal Stewardship – exhibit a sense of personal ownership toward the business which drives toward establishing a pattern of profitability.

· Physical Inventory – responsible for maintaining accuracy in the store’s physical inventory.

· Staffing – maintain productive store coverage through the maintenance of adequate staff levels based upon sales projections and seasonal traffic trends.

· Training – primary trainer in the store and conducts both the initial and ongoing training of both Hourly Retail Managers and Hourly Retail Sales Associates.

· Community Involvement – strongly encouraged to seek out and participate in local events, charitable organizations, civic organizations, business groups, etc.

Education & Experience Requirements:

· Minimum 2 years Retail Management experience

· High School Diploma or equivalent
