Job Summary:

The Production Associate prepares products for packaging and shipment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Inspect each item for damage or other quality issues before packaging.
• Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment per instructions.
• Quality control check of packages, confirm packages are properly sealed and labeled.
• Read and follow spec sheets.
• Follow all company guidelines.
• Assist with sanitation as needed to clean and maintain the food manufacturing facility.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• You have knowledge of packing and shipping procedures.
• You have knowledge of safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Processes
• You possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• You have strong attention to detail.
• You have strong communication skills and the desire to work with other team members.

Education and Experience:

• Warehouse or factory experience, packaging goods for shipment
• Bi-lingual, English/Spanish a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 30 pounds
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
• Stand and move around the manufacturing floor for up to 8 hours.
• Handle fluctuating temperatures (hot/cold)
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach out.

• Adjust body movements or equipment controls to keep pace with speed changes of moving objects.
• See details of objects that are less than a few feet away.
• See differences between colors, shades, and brightness.
• Hear sounds and recognize the difference between them.
